After serving four years on the Van Wert City Schools Board of Education, Cindy Hurless resigned during Wednesday’s meeting.
“It has been a pleasure to serve on the Board,” stated Hurless. “I will be moving on to other opportunities and the Board deserves someone who can devote their full time to them.”
Hurless submitted her resignation effective Nov. 28, 2018.
Other members of the board wished her well as they voted to approve the acceptance of her resignation.
“Thank you so much for all that you have done for the Board,” stated Board President Debby Compton. “You have played a very active roll on the Board and we truly appreciate all you have done. Good luck in your new position.”
The VWCS Board of Education is looking for someone to fulfill the remainder of Cindy’s term running through November 2019. For more information and an application, check out our employment opportunities page.
