$200 They hold a monthly scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly question.

OppU Achievers Scholarship






Awarded 4 times a year. Must have a 3.0 or better GPA and submit a short essay



Digital Responsibility-Don't Text and Drive Scholarship

9/30/21 $1,000

Must write a 140 character response to "I pledge to not text and drive because ...."

Two students are selected monthly, judging is based on community service, work experience, honors and awards, leadership & extracurricular activities, must write an essay up to 400 words, provide 1 or 2 letters of recommendation.  Turn applications into Student Services.

AES Scholarship


10/8/21 $500 Submit a 500-1,000 word essay regarding, "When you look back on your life in 30 years, what it would take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?"  You do not have to be an engineering student to apply.

Heisman High School Scholarship

10/19/21 Up to $10,000 Must have a 3.0 GPA, participate in one of 47 recognized high school sports, participate in volunteer service, community involvement or school leadership

Coca-Cola Scholars

10/31/21 $20,000 Achievement based for seniors who are recognized for their leadership, service and impact on their school and community.

Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Voice of Democracy Scholarship

National Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship

11/15/21 Ranges from $1,000 to $12,500 Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.  500 scholarships are awarded.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship

11/18/21 Up to $55,000 Must have 3.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, demonstrate persistence, leadership and service to others

Driver Education Initiative Scholarship

11/30/21 $500 Must write an essay titled, "In the driver's seat", discussing the importance of being a safe and educated driver.  Should be 500 words or more

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

12/1/21 up to $48,000 over 4 years 3.75 GPA, minimum ACT of 24, must work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of college, FAFSA EFC under $6,500
