VWCS will notify parents if there is a positive case in their child's building through FinalForms as those cases are confirmed with the Van Wert County Health Department.
VWCS COMMUNICATION-CURRENT COVID-19 POSITIVE & QUARANTINE
The safety of our students and staff at Van Wert City Schools will continue to be our highest priority. In an effort to keep our school community fully informed, we will provide weekly updates indicating confirmed positive COVID-19 cases by school, as well as possible community exposure cases, for both students and staff who need to be quarantined.
Van Wert County Health Department and VWCS will follow up with individuals determined to be close contacts of a COVID-19 positive student or employee. Federal laws prohibit us from posting the direct names of a COVID-19 positive person.
