VWHS E-Learning Information with cougar head

VWHS students will be able to begin accessing their assignments Thursday, March 26 on ECHO. Students can log on at any time throughout each day to access the resources. Students who DO NOT have access to ECHO can pick up paper resources Monday 3/30 and Wednesday 4/1 between 10:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Goedde Building or Ohio City Village Hall/Utility Office (North door).  These pick up locations are the same dates and times as our “Grab and Go” food service.

To help provide assistance for students, we have created “Office Hours”.  Students may contact teachers during their office hours for assistance.  If a student needs to contact 2 different teachers who have office hours at the same time, please email the teacher with your conflict and schedule an alternative time to meet.

If you still need assistance, such as obtaining textbooks or any other questions, you can call the VWHS office at 419-238-3350.

Van Wert High School

Teacher Office Hours

For the purpose of helping our students, the teachers at Van Wert High School have created Office Hours.  What are “Office Hours”?  This is a time that has been set aside for students to know that teachers will be available to help or provide instruction.  By posting these times, our intention was for students to know they will not have to wait for a response from a teacher, and for teachers to know this will be a time when students can join them in a Zoom session for any direct instruction or a visual conference so the student can actually see specific information.  Please be sure to check each teacher’s agenda in ECHO for more specific information.

During these established times, teachers will be available for students to email, Zoom or call with any questions they may have over that particular subject area.

Resource Teachers – Since our Resource Teachers are involved in many classes, each teacher has provided their availability on their ECHO page.  Please review that information and contact your Resource Teacher at the designated time.

Counselors – Counselors will be available from 10:00am – 1:00pm Monday thru Friday.  Please call 419-238-2180.  You can also email them at
