Four 2021 graduates of Van Wert High School were recently awarded first place prizes in the 2021 Believe in Ohio State Competition.

Mengerink was awarded 1st place a Regionals, 2nd place at State, and earned a gold medal at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference for her "Human Trafficking in Today's World" presentation.
