Trent J. Temple is entering his first year as the Athletic Director for Van Wert City Schools. Trent is no stranger to Van Wert, having spent 19 years coaching and working at Van Wert High School. Before coming back to Van Wert, Trent was the Athletic Director at Ada Exempted Village Schools for one year. Prior to that, he spent five years teaching and coaching at Celina High School. Trent is one class away from earning his Masters of Athletic Administration, and he has received his Athletic Administration Certification through the National Interscholastic Administrators Association. Trent’s wife, Amanda, teaches 7th grade science at Van Wert Middle School and they have two children, Mitch (15) and Marlee (10).
